Enjoy an amazing experience and spectacular views along the pathway. Learn about the history of once considered world’s most dangerous pathway. After the route, head to Álora for a tasting of local products and free time. Get on your walking shoes!


  • Discover Gaitanes gorge's natural location.
  • The construction of a water channel from the reservoirs in the north to El Chorro was carried out together with a path for maintaining the channel. This one is known as "El Caminito del Rey"
  • This path, about 3 kilometers long, has stretched of less than 1 meter wide and it is hanging about 100 meters high above the Guadalhorce River.

  • Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.

  • This tour have multiple pickup stops along Costa del Sol in the cities of Málaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella.
  • Two and a half to three hours are needed to complete the route walking. Please wear appropriate attire.
  • Entrance to Caminito del Rey is forbidden for children under 8 years old.
  • The pathway is not adapted to wheelchair users. It is not recommended for people with reduced mobility or for those who suffer from dizziness.
  • We recommend you to take water and snacks with you.
  • There are no toilets along the pathway.
  • The duration of the tour includes transportation.

Hanging about 100 meters high above the Guadalhorce River, admire the view whilst you stroll along 3km of the pathway. Walk through the less than 1-meter-wide part of the path over the gorge on the same waterway. Recover from the hiking in the village of Álora and enjoy a tasting of local products. Explore the city at your own pace during the free time provided before heading back to your original pick up point.
