Highlights

  • The Mosque of Cordoba was built during the Muslim empire and was reconverted into a Catholic cathedral. It is the third biggest mosque in the world and stands out for its hundreds of decorated arches and columns that hold its roof.
  • The Synagogue is located in the Jewish Quarter. Accessed from the street there is the courtyard that takes to the prayer’s rooms.
  • La Giralda joins the Arab and Christian culture in its tower of 97’5 meters high. The 35 ramps to ascend to the summit make it easy for locals and visitors to enjoy panoramic views of Seville.

1st Day (Sun). MADRID – CACERES – CORDOBA
Depart from our established hotels in Madrid. Please refer to your documentation for detailed departure information. Drive eastwards on a modern highway towards Extremadura, homeland of many discoverers of the new world. Arrive Caceres, capital of the province, declared World Heritage City. Time at leisure to walk through the old town with its ancient walls and well known medieval quarter. Afterwards, continue on towards Cordoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

2nd Day (Mon). CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour including its impressive “Mosque” today a Cathedral. Walk through its narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. Continue on towards Seville. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

3rd Day (Tue). SEVILLE – MADRID (by train)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning panoramic city tour visiting: the exterior of the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), Santa Cruz quarter (a natural scenario of “Carmen” as well as a precisely where the myth of “Don Juan” developed), Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Afternoon at leisure for you to discover exclusive views.
In the late afternoon transfer on your own to the train station to depart by AVE, high speed train, at 6:45 pm from Seville arriving to Madrid at 9:15 pm. END OF OUR SERVICE.
